Broadband ADSL

Broadband ADSL is a form of high speed internet service that is delivered over phone lines. It is one of the most common forms of broadband access in Australia.

Unlike traditional dial-up technology, ADSL allows you to run your internet service without interrupting your phone calls and tying up your line, but most importantly, because you aren’t placing a call each time you connect to the internet, you also save money in call costs.

Broadband ADSL is an “always on” connection, and comes in a variety of speeds starting at 256 Kilobits download speed (approximately 5 times faster than dial up) and up to maximum speeds of 24 Megabits download speed†, or up to 400 times faster than dial up.

Rather than confuse our customers with speeds and “techno-babble”, at ONE we’ve decided to go with a more simple approach to explaining broadband by labeling our plans “Fast, Faster and Fastest”. We also have a “Furious” plan for Internet Speed Demons.
